Work is often the thing that makes the rest hold.
A job provides structure, income and a reason to be somewhere at a set time — all of which tend to support everything else a person is working on. It is also one of the hardest things to restart after a period of illness or substance use.
The practical obstacles are specific: a gap in a work history that needs explaining, an application process that assumes recent references, an interview question there is no comfortable answer to. Those are the things your case manager works on with you.
This work sits inside case management rather than standing on its own, and Mana assists independently — we do not place people with partner employers.
